Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarm Standards
Effective July 1, 2022, carbon monoxide and smoke alarm devices are required to be installed in any building which contains sleeping accommodations. This would be applicable to dwellings and any building which contains a residential occupancy where sleeping is to occur.
